Meet with other local Buddhists and those interested in the Buddha Dharma. On average, between 6 - 12 people attend monthly. Most do not come through this "meet up" venue but through its web site, outreach and word of mouth.
We practice quiet sitting meditation, sacred chants, and mindfulness. Includes discussions on the practical daily application of Buddhism. Open to beginners to the most advanced.
We meet on the first Friday of the month from 7- 9 p.m. at a private home in Southington, Connecticut. Google us, "Southington Buddhist Fellowship" for schedule, readings and directions.
A PLACE FOR FELLOWSHIP. We offer a caring, spiritual and open environment that naturally creates healthy relationships between the members of our spiritual family.
A PLACE FOR LEARNING. We are engaged in the study of the whole of Buddhism but place more focus on Shin Buddhism, which is designed for ordinary working people with busy schedules.
A PLACE FOR PRACTICE. Our primary reason for meeting together is to practice the dharma, and to awaken to the Oneness of reality.
