I am in service to the Father and Christ as the Chosen One to bring forth the Truth to light. Together with my sisters of the Light of Life Ministry we have a very important message to deliver to all of mankind.
The hourglass is nearly empty. The culmination of End Times is upon us and the Great Tribulation is just around the corner. There are a total of TWO things that you need in order to obtain Eternal Life and Man-Made Religion is not one of them. (1) A Good Heart Condition. (2) An Acceptance of Christ as Lord and Savior. We urge those who wish to obtain Eternal Life in Christ's Kingdom to read the following very important message: http://www.lightoflif... For additional End Times information also visit: http://www.EndTimesTr... And for Free End Times Newsletters visit: http://stores.lulu.co... We don?t aim to twist arms or convince anyone of anything they aren?t ready or willing to believe as their hearts will ultimately dictate what they perceive to be truth. However, it is also our responsibility to warn those who do not accept this Truth, will face Judgment at Armageddon. For this reason we pray that the eyes and hearts of all who read our message are opened to the Truth whether that is now, or in the near future when our words come to pass. |

Dear Sara:
If you feel it is your "responsibility to warn those who do not accept this Truth, will face Judgment at Armageddon" then you might study the language and culture of the people you are addressing. The Bible warns that a messenger, even an angel, will be rejected for trying to witness by using a different Gospel than the audience originally heard. So you might want to study Buddhist scriptures in order to see and to explain how Christ Jesus fulfills them. Otherwise your message makes no sense. The same way Moses brought divine laws touching heaven, which Jesus later fulfilled, Buddha defined natural laws touching humanity, which Jesus also fulfills in rejoining the laws of God with the laws of man. Buddha's teachings are based on "perfect Wisdom" and "perfect Compassion," the secular equivalent of Mosaic laws based on "Loving God" and "Loving our Neighbor" joined as one in Christ Jesus. Buddha prophesied the coming and return of a final Maitreya Buddha to fulfill the spiritual process, which can be interpreted to mean the spirit of truth that precedes the return of Christ Jesus ("restorative justice") and the holy spirit (healing and harmony) in the end days. It makes sense that if the sacrifice of Christ atoned for past sins of humanity, this is the same concept as breaking the cycle of karma so that souls can reach Nirvana or the Kingdom of God. If you wish to bring this knowledge of reconciliation in Christ to Buddhists, you might explain it in terms of Buddhist teachings that your message might be understood and received. Thank you, Sara Yours truly, Emily http://www.houstonpro... |

I'm not sure anyone else can "break the cycle of karma" FOR me or do anything else on my behalf. I think it's my own responsibility to live a decent life and try and learn from my mistakes and make sure my actions are taken with the best intentions. I'm not sure that Buddha or Jesus or anyone else is going to come along and absolve me of the consequences of my own actions. I don't know that "an acceptance of Christ as Lord and Savior" is going to absolve me of the consequences of my own actions, either. I'm not a Pure Land Buddhist for similar reasons. I just don't know what relevance this message has to me, because I don't believe that any kind of magical thinking is going to change the laws of nature and cause and effect.

Hi Kelly:
Thank you for giving a sign of life on this board, as I was beginning to wonder! I don't think anyone disagrees with individual responsibility for consequences of our actions. But when our free choices are corrupted by collective influences of others, especially past actions beyond our control, that is where faith steps in. How can we link our individual selves with the greater relations around us, where they co-influence each other in positive ways. I believe in a link between the choices we make individually and the global effects and influences. So I believe the more we reconcile and resolve our local conflicts, the world is also achieving peace. So that is what I see in the meaning of Jesus Christ representing the break in the vicious cycle. Instead of being caught in "retributive" relations of cause and effect, individuals can join spiritually in "restorative" redemption (which Jesus Christ represents) to break through collectively, beyond just our individual limits of influence. In other words, the whole is greater than the sum of the parts. So there is strength in collective, concerted prayers and mindfulness. I think that helps us also to make better choices as individuals, when we are harmoniously connected through prayer and/or conscience with all other souls seeking truth and common good. You are right that only we can choose for ourselves to accept this power in our lives, the transformation of "wisdom and compassion" (in Buddhist terms) or "love and truth" (in Christian values). To understand that for things beyond our individual control, we can access collective energy to turn negative into positive, which Christians call divine grace. I find that all true spiritual teachings work with natural healing energy and truth to bring about freedom from negative conflicts that block these forces of life. So I believe collectively the ability to reconcile all this knowledge so that we can all pray/think and work together harmoniously is what it means for Christ to be the central connection between us and the divine spiritual level of universal love and wisdom where there is heavenly peace like the Kingdom of God. Note: In general I find that the change in thinking from "retributive" or conditioned cause and effect based on the past, to "restorative" or healing based on the future, the ability and timing involved in this change is EQUALLY influenced by past karma or conditions. By the spiritual progression, humanity is meant to overcome conditioned thinking, based on past perceptions, and be led more and more by positive pro-active thinking based on future ideals. So this progression is natural, but in the process to get there, it requires reconciliation between divine spiritual levels and human existence on earth. So that is where the divine intervention comes into play. If humanity was only motivated by our limited human perception of the past, we would be forever be stuck in the vicious cycle. But due to the divine insight we are capable of envisioning, we are motivated toward change in the future. This spiritual connection is not "supernatural" but part of the human design. Jesus Christ represents the embodiment of divine restorative justice, incarnated on the human level, and sacrificed on that level, in order to rejoin humanity and divinity "collectively." So through this connection, all humans as individuals can be as one harmoniously with each other, with all tribes and nations, and with all creation. That requires individual choice and understanding, as you say, but is influenced by the greater whole, of which we are a microcosm, a reflection. That is why such weighty symbolism is applied to Jesus Christ, as a symbol of the spiritual connection in the collective conscience joining all hearts, minds and souls.
